2015 African America History Month Celebration
On February 21, the Midpen community celebrated African American History Month at Ravenswood Open Space Preserve. Over 120 adults and kids came together to meet the buffalo soldiers, explore bugs and birds, and walk and bike in the preserve. Senator Jerry Hill, Assemblymember Rich Gordon, Supervisor Warren Slocum, and East Palo Alto Mayor Lisa Yarbrough-Gauthier joined us for the day. Thanks for a great time, everyone!
